Pyrography is the art of decorating wood or other materials with burn marks resulting from the controlled application of a heated object such as a poker. It is also known as pokerwork or wood burning.

Etsuko Ichikawa uses melted glass to burn paper. It’s awesome and you should watch the video.

Edo Monsters1

I’ve been more and more interested lately in getting a tattoo done. Always keeping my eye out for inspiration and shit. This struck me as some really cool, weird, interesting, unique options for tattoos. I don’t know if I’ll use any of them but I just like the idea. I guess I just like thinking about getting a tattoo. I don’t know if I’m scared of actually getting one or not though.  I haven’t really thought about the repercussions of getting one but I sort of assume that they’re not as frowned upon as they once were.
