I’ve been meaning to post about this book for a while now. I had the pictures ready for about a year now.

The book is a collection curated by Raf Simons of influential youth subcultures and more of his inspirations, including magazine ads, covers, films, and artworks. There’s even a Pierre Cardin ad that is eerily similar to S/S 2009 for Jil Sander Mens. An excellent book to keep as a reference or leave out on your coffee table (if you have one).

Mountains are a photograph by Ori Gersht. Constructivist sculpture is from a photo from Jan Kempenaers series of Spomeniks. Background is this fashion editorial that I don’t remember. I was just bored and wanted to combine some things I like right now to make a more concise post.

Would love to score a vintage sweatshirt like one of these. Especially something similar to the one on the left with the strongly defined ‘V’ shape on the hood. I will keep on the lookout in the near future.
