FAC 51 / The Haçienda

If this were an apartment I would make it my life goal to live here. It almost looks like a Factory Records/Peter Saville design. It’s great that they had a consistent aesthetic going. And good taste too, they’ve got those Alvar Aalto stools.
Photos stolen from Ben Kelly Design.

Peter Saville did a large part of the conceptual design along with Tony Allen. Rob Gretton hired out a lot of the work to many of the designers that worked with Factory Records. Devlin, definitely invest in this book:

it’s pretty fantastic.
Will do Max. Thanks.

It never looked like this when you were in it as it was always dark! And the seeder side – the stairs led up to a passageway the went behind the DJ booths and I once got offer “sputnik!” (whatever that was!)by a rather large black guy!
